Can you talk about the development of E.J. Warner so far?
E.J Warner was just drafted last night, however, he is penciled in as the starter for the team. We will be having a quarterback competition this preseason as we also drafted QB sensation Christian Veilleux. Veilleux will get most of the playing time being the back up, however, we dont beleive he will be able to overtake the starting spot over Warner.
How has Derek Carr’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
He was just signed last night. He was brought in to bring experience to a quarterback room that has two high profile rookies on it. He will help them both develop this preseason and with his help one of them will become the starting quarterback of the New Orleans Saints for this final season in PML.
Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?
We started off as one of the oldest teams in the league and we ended up being one of the oldest teams in the league. The team development in order to get out of cap h*** was great, however, we didn't take advantage of the first PML draft by drafting genetic freaks like most of the other teams in the league. This resulted in us having to bring in high overall veterans to supplement our team. If we could go back in time, on that very first draft, we would be drafting the fastest and tallest players in every round of the draft.
