What does it mean to you or the team to have such a great winning record at home this season?
It means a lot. We want to use that energy from the fans to push us all season, even when aren’t at a home. That starts with protecting home field. We’ve been asking for them to cover the stadium when it rains since we spent all that money on a roof, but they never utilize it.
Can you talk about the development of Ceyair Wright so far?
He’s been developing well and has looked promising in training camp. Right now are we deciding do we let him get his feet wet and start him at CB2 early but that yet has to be determined. He has the physicals, but we have him spending a lot of time with the veterans.
How has Byron Jones’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
He’s been a great leader for the rest of DB group as he has the most experience. With the team deciding to let Xavien Howard test free agency last season, Jones has accepted the role and is focused on getting a ring before he has the same fate.
