What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
While we had a few defensive mishaps that led to points, we were confident that our opponent was not capable of stopping us. As a result, CJ Stroud had one of his best games of the season. We look to carry that momentum with us into a big matchup against the division rival LA Rams next week.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Keaton Mitchell?
Keaton is ridiculously fast. You really don't understand that kind of speed until you play it. We aimed to try to get him on the ground quickly before he got to the second level. He was able to break some runs off, but overall I feel we kept him in check.
What are your thoughts about the Chiefs just in general as a team?
The Chiefs were a super bowl contender from day 1 and have remained a very well-built roster throughout 5 seasons. However, they have underperformed since season 1 concluded. There is a lot of speed on the field, but Trevor Lawrence finds himself in bad spots trying to make tough throws he shouldn't be making. I wonder if they miss Mahomes.
