Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Cowboys last week?
That CPU team did their best job to cheat in the first half. But they ran out of gas in the second. Let's see how much they can cheat in a few weeks.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Brock Bowers?
You just hope and pray. But we do have capable bodies that will share the duty of containing Brock Bowers with Derwin James and SMB. And those guys are as good as it gets covering inside.
Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
You just gotta let the game come to you. Don't force the action. Patience is hard to exuberate when you have a chance to score on any given play. But you can also turn it over on any given play.
What are your thoughts about the Colts just in general as a team?
The Colts just made the Super Bowl so we know how tough that roster is from top to bottom. We gotta respect what they bring to the table despite their slow start this season.
How would you assess where your team is near the halfway point of the season?
Being 9-0 is pretty solid. It definitely gives us a cushion for error.
