What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
Executing the game plan. We saw the weather report. The rain makes it tough to pass, so our goal was to force the Eagles to pass, and on offense ourselves our goal was to run the ball and establish the quick passing game. We were able to do both, and our offense was able to make some big plays after the catch. You have to be able to adapt week to week in the NFL, and we did that last week.
Can you talk about the development of Christian Gonzalez so far?
He has stepped up, we have a lot of faith in our DB room to be able to make quick plays. They have speed and size that just can't be taught. As they continue to grow we are excited to see the levels that they can get to.
How do you see the competition level in the AFC East currently?
I think this is a big feeling out process for the whole league. Are the people who think they're contenders actually contenders? Who are the surprise teams? All we can do is put out our best effort every week, and hope that positive results follow.
