What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
Limit the mistakes. Establish the run. It’s easy to fall in love with the speed we have on the outside but our strength scheme wise will always be run the rock. So we did that and came out victorious with a little help from the football God’s.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Chargers last week?
They are a well coached ball club, our first real test of the season and it showed us how much work has to be done. Many playmakers on that team so you have to be fundamentally sound. We made to many fundamental mistakes.
How has Terron Armstead’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
DID YOU NOT SEE THE GAME? Armstead won is the game by giving us all he had on the fake FG. Game ball went to him and he set a standard of what we expect from everybody. Any way you can help the team, do your best.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Tyreek Hill sort of factor into that perspective?
For us the receiver corp has to be patient and understand that in this system the deep shots downfield is what everybody expects so we will get creative with other ways other the the deep ball.
What are your thoughts about the Patriots just in general as a team?
The patriots are gonna be a sleeper this year, not many big names but they are well coached. They will upset a lot of temas that are actually better then them but not as well coached.
