How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
We had a tough loss against Atlanta this week, you never want to lose two games at home back to back, so we have to identify what went wrong and correct it for next week. In our last two games, we got under the gun early and couldn't move the ball in the first half. We have to play better on offense and protect Jared Goff long enough for him to be able to find the open guy down the field.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Kyle Pitts?
You can never prepare enough for a guy like Pitts, you just have to be able to cover him long enough for the pass rush to get home. Pitts will beat any one-on-one coverage, especially against most linebackers in the league. Our plan is to have CJ Gardner Johnson manned up with him and when he isn't, it will be a tall task for Kerby Joseph to guard him.
How has Marvin Jones Jr’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
We have signed Andy Isabella in free agency, that happened this week, so Marvin Jones has officially been replaced and downgraded to the fourth spot on the depth chart BUT, Jones is an asset in run blocking, so expect to see him out there in heavy packages.
