What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
Coach Vet usually has our number, but this week was our week. Outside of 2 silly mistakes we played pretty clean football. Gameplan was to hand the ball off and let Dre go to work. 17 for 245 and 4 TDs, if you dont win, you just let him down. Defensively Vet refused to throw over 7 yards. We just gave him underneath and had to make tackles. They have a very good front 7, but i think our OL matches up evenly even without Lane Johnson this week.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Buccaneers last week?
A game we coulda very easily won. Mike Evans had a himself a day and was super tough to cover. Led to him just taking over when they needed it.
What is the status of Lane Johnson and when is he set to return?
Lane Johnson was back in the building this week for meetings. He'll be ready next week to take on the Rams in LA
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
First win this season and bale to do it at the Linc is awesome.. hopefully it leads to turning this 0-3 start around and we make a small run to fight for the division, or the wildcard. one game at a time.
How much of a problem is Jonathan Allen on the defensive line?
Who?
Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?
i can agree, we havea very good and mature roster, it comes down to coaching to making this work. were working on getting the young guys better so they can have their numbers called up soon
