How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?

Losing, especially in the midst of a rebuild, is tough. And the worst part? When that losing starts becoming a habit. It's a dangerous cycle. You keep falling into that trap, and before you know it, you're packing up your office without even getting that shot at redemption. That ain’t the vision I signed up for.

For us, it's all about culture. After a loss, we ain't just throwing our hands up and accepting it as the status quo. Nah, man. We’re dissecting it, learning from it, and pushing ourselves to break that cycle. Each loss, as painful as it is, gives us clarity on what needs fixing, and where we need to focus our energy. The next game? It's another shot at proving to ourselves, and to the world, that we're on the right path, even if the journey's rocky. Every week, win or lose, we're building that culture brick by brick. And that's how this loss prepares us: by reminding us of the culture we're fighting to establish.

Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Steelers last week?

Playing against the Steelers last week? Man, nothing crazy. Yeah, we took an L, but our eyes are set forward, always focused on what we can improve on our end. One silver lining? Our matchup zone coverage. I've seen the progress, and trust me, it’s getting sharper with each snap. That's vital for us. So while outsiders might zoom in on that loss, we're zoning in on our growth and what we can do better. Every game's a lesson, and we're here to learn and level up.

How has Brian Hoyer’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

Brian Hoyer? Man, you really trying to get a soundbite on our 3rd string QB? Look, no disrespect to Hoyer – the man's got more years in this league than some of our guys have been alive, heck, he's older than me! But come on now, there are so many other facets to this team we can talk about. How's his experience helped? He's seen it all, so he brings that veteran presence, that know-how, that calm demeanor when things get heated. But if we're being real? Y'all gotta spread out them questions a bit. Now, who handed you that press pass? Was it Janitor Cammy? Because I'm starting to question some things here!
