Commanders came into this game needing a win. We had to control the game, needed to make big plays on defense, make Ridder beat us in the air. We had a conservative game plan for Sam Howell today and ran it a bunch to keep the Falcons defense on the field.

A lot of mental mistakes. We shot ourselves in the foot on the opening drive and were never really able to get comfortable in the running game.

Huge leader on this defense and in this locker room. Has 2 interceptions and 8 tackles. Look for him to step up in key spots later in the season.
