How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
I mean it sucks. Losing sucks. But that's why you play 17 games a season. We're 0-2 in division, we're .500 right now. That's not good enough for the standards we have. We got nothing to lose moving forward. We're going to Atlanta next week, need to stay above .500 before the back half of this schedule. We better wake up and figure it out soon, though.
Can you talk about the development of Jordan Addison so far?
Addison has been playing at a great level for a #2 WR. Obviously playing next to Justin Jefferson can be daunting, but it also gives him tons of opportunities to catch passes and score touchdowns against a team's CB2. He's had a great start to his career and we think he can be a core piece of this offense in the near future.
The trade deadline is this week. Should we expect any major moves for the team?
Our leading rusher Ty Chandler is on the move to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. This comes following Kene Nwangwu coming back from injury and them being such similar players, we felt it was best we try to get some draft capital. The Eagles sent us a future 2nd round pick that was previously the Saints. We wish Ty nothing, but the best in Philly.
