What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
To not turn the ball over and stop the run. We know Wimmy likes to run the ball and he has the best WR in Madden, who's Jefferson. He racked up 120 yards but was shut down for the most part. He racked up yards on his catch in double coverage in the end zone. Other than that, we shut down his biggest threat and our defense won us the game. That is what we need to do every game.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Broncos last week?
It was just a feeling having the better team. We were way more talented than that Denver team on the defensive side of the ball. So we used that advantage to force 4 INTs and win the game.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Justin Jefferson?
It is really hard. We double covered him on multiple plays but he still got open. He even mossed 2 of my DBs at once in the end zone. He is tough to stop, all you can do is contain him.
