Can you talk about the development of Jordan Addison so far?
Well he just broke his collarbone. Just now. So he’s been great as a compliment to Jordan Jefferson so far through the season, but it looks like we might not have him back for the rest of his rookie year. So while I’m sure you meant well by your question, I’m a little more concerned for his well-being right now.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Kyle Pitts?
Don’t man him up. Not with a safety, not with a corner, and for God’s sake, not with a linebacker. He is one of those broken madden players in the game. He should be spammed every quarter of every game for the rest of the season. The falcons have no excuse for why their offense shouldn’t be top 5 for the rest of the cycle.
How has Kirk Cousins’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Kirk is our guy. He is our leader, but we’ve got to do a better job at holding onto the ball. My guy is playing like Jameis Winston out here. I mean 20 picks through the first 9 games is just not going to win us many games. I don’t necessarily blame Kirk, I blame our coaches. We’ve asked too much of him. We’d love to start establishing the run game more, but injuries have really limited our flexibility. We just have to do better as a whole.
