To the PML Commissioner Team and whoever it may concern,
I hope this communication reaches you in good spirits. Allow me to be direct. The Raiders and I operate with a championship mentality. Always. Every snap, every play, every decision, it’s all aimed at one singular goal, hoisting that championship… again. We’re in the trenches, day in and day out, and we know the grind and the fire needed to ascend to the apex of this league, unlike you and your commission board, respectfully.
Having tasted that sweet victory before… 2 times… settling for anything less than a championship isn’t in our vocabulary. I understand the chatter and the doubts being cast upon our Raiders, but let’s make one thing crystal clear. My legacy, our legacy, is defined by championships. A winning season, a playoff berth, those are milestones, but they are NOT the finish line. Not for these Raiders. Not for King Mike. While some are judged by playoff wins and Conference Championship appearances, this organization is not afford that luxury. Yes, we use the word luxury, as we believe those who continually use that as a crunch may never really know what kind of PML fire you must go through to get to that mountain top of a championship season.
Our commitment to the Premier Madden League and everything it represents in both the Madden community and in the world of high level competitive gaming is steadfast. We’ve identified crucial areas within our operations that require elevation, and we’re taking the necessary steps to address them. I’m on the brink of incorporating a formidable Video Coordinator and Game Film Analysts, who will be instrumental in sharpening our strategic edge on the field.
The whispers of us ‘tanking’ are not only disrespectful but also far from our organizational fabric. We are the Raiders. We are warriors, competitors, and champions at heart and in reality. We rise to challenges and face adversity head-on.
The draft? Yes, it’s overloaded with talent. But don’t mistake our attention to it as a sign of contentment with mediocrity. We play to win, every single time, and will never compromise our drive for a championship season within the current cycle.
Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to clarify our stance. Know this, the Las Vegas Raiders are fueled, more than ever, to roar back with a fury that will echo in the annals of PML history.
