What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
A lot of praise goes to Our Defensive Coordinator, Ian Alexander. He spent a great deal of time with the secondary in preparation for our game. Our front Seven Showed up in great fashion to help set the stage for the young and athletic secondary we have. The playcalling from Alexander and his team helped get us in position to secure our third victory of the season.
What is the status of Joe Mixon and when is he set to return?
The Joe Mixon is a tricky conversation for us right now. We lean heavily on his presence on the field and off the field. He is a leader amongst our team our Young Future Hall of Famers. There have been some questions regarding the timeliness of his injury and speculation of PEDs being used. Until further discussion within our organization, we refuse further comments.
Did you scout C.J. Stroud before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
We know that we have a Franchise Quarterback in Joe Burrow. Burrow has shown the signs of a complete quarterback since early in his career. I wouldn't say that we scouted C.J. Stroud as a piece for our developing Bengals Offense, but we did keep up with the rise of the young gun. His throwing accuracy while being able to extend a play with his legs when needed makes him a rare breed. He has great potential. Having a mobile QB who can deliver accurate throws while running will eventually become a standard in our league.
