Draft Prospects Best Fits

QB Caleb Williams- USC
The no doubt first overall pick is gonna make waves wherever he ends up. The Saints are easily the best fit out of teams close to him as they pass a lot and would utilize his talents most efficiently. The Giants, Raiders, and Commanders are the most QB needy teams at the bottom of the league currently but I don’t see Caleb having much success with any of these schemes, Las Vegas could get right with him, though. Finally, the Jets and Rams are wildcards to keep an eye on as Caleb Williams could be seen as a need for them, although I’m not sure what those trades would look like.

TLDR: Saints would give him best success but Giants, Raiders, and Commanders more likely to end up with him while the Rams and Jets are dark horse great fits.

WR Marvin Harrison Jr- Ohio State
I wouldn’t be surprised if MHJ comes into PML as the highest overall rookie and with his size and speed he’s worth the top 3 pick he will cost. The Jaguars and Ravens are the current front-runners being at the top of the draft without needing a quarterback. I think he would put up some pretty crazy stats for Jacksonville with their air raid offense despite the lack of success there this season. The Ravens have talented young wideouts and have yet to get their offense going so I don’t think that’s a great fit. The Bears via Carolina are a great fit to help Fields work towards that contract extension he’ll soon demand. DJ Moore is there but this would make for an elite reciever room. Still, the Bears have other needs so MHJ remains a big mystery where he will go. The best fit has to be the Titans via the Eagles pick who would take this wr room from zero to hero.

TLDR: He helps anywhere he goes but biggest impact is with the Titans and least impact is with the Ravens

TE Brock Bowers- Georgia
A generational tight end that will match Kyle Pitts potentially for how high he’ll get drafted. The usual suspects at the bottom could all benefit from him except for the Ravens who have Mark Andrews and despite Andrews being on the older side, don’t need a tight end. The Jaguars needing better weapons for T-Law, The Giants needing to move on from 30 year old Darren Waller, The Bears adding another weapon for Fields, The Raiders have the rookie Michael Mayer but could use another prime target for their QB of the future, and the Saints also could elevate their receiver room heavily. The Titans have big chig so I don’t want to see Bowers there. I want to see him where he’s the WR1 essentially and I think that would be the case in Arizona. They may have too many other holes to fill but Trey McBride is being utilized well and Bowers would go off with a full season from Kyler Murray.

TLDR: As long as he goes to a team that uses their TE he will be generational. Arizona and Chicago would make the most immediate impact.

HB Braelon Allen- Wisconsin
Braelon is here because he’s gonna get drafted too early and it’s gonna turn out fine because he’s a beast. He’s not slow and a monster of a running back with solid hands out of the backfield. He belongs with JT and the Panthers but they don’t have a lot of assets to get in the first round and they also have too many holes to fill where it wouldn’t make sense. The Texans via the Browns pick is definitely the best fit at a reasonable pick as the Texans have shown they need a franchise guy in the backfield next to Stroud, however I think Houston may want to build up other areas of the time with their first round pick. I wouldn’t rule out destinations like Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Washington as RB needy teams who may value Braelon Allen as a first round target.

TLDR: I don’t believe in a first round RB, but he’s going top 32 so who has the luxury of picking a RB first round. I want him in Houston but doesn’t make all that much sense.
