Welcome to PML Frightfest! We’ve paired PML teams and coaches with some of the most renowned monsters and villains from classic horror tales. Lets take a look at some of the some of the best and worst of PML season 1!
AFC North
Steelers – Coach Curt (Embodying the Steel Curtain)
The White Walkers from “Game of Thrones”: In the frigid and unforgiving landscape of Westeros, the White Walkers emerged as a force that’s both cold and unstoppable. Just as the fables told of their icy conquest, Coach Curt’s Steelers have been embodying the essence of the legendary Steel Curtain, freezing out their opposition with an ironclad defense and precision offense. The White Walkers, with their pale blue eyes and chilling presence, advance methodically, turning every challenge into a frozen asset. In a similar vein, the Steelers, under Coach Curt’s leadership, have displayed an uncanny ability to convert challenges into opportunities, forging ahead with a game plan as unyielding as ice. As the Night King led the White Walkers with an eerie calm, Coach Curt strategizes from the sidelines, his moves as calculated as they are unpredictable. The league watches with bated breath, wondering if anyone can melt the icy march of this team. But as winter continues, one thing becomes clear: the Steelers are coming, and they bring with them a frosty promise of dominance.
Ravens – Coach Arod (Not living up to potential)
Ghostface from “Scream”: Coach Arod’s Ravens, much like the enigmatic Ghostface from the iconic horror series “Scream”, carry a sense of mystery and unpredictability. Ghostface, characterized by his black robe and white mask, is an unpredictable assailant whose motives and identity keep changing with each sequel. Much like him, the Ravens began their season with a promise of dominance, echoing the suspense that precedes Ghostface’s first kill. But as the story unravels, so does the team’s performance. The inconsistency, much like the ever-changing villains behind the Ghostface mask, leaves fans in anticipation: Which version of the Ravens will show up next? While Ghostface calls his victims before striking, Coach Arod seems to be searching for the right call to reignite the Ravens’ spark. The question looming over PML is: Will the Ravens find their identity, or will they remain the unpredictable enigma, forever keeping the league guessing?
