AFC South

Texans – Coach Keraun (Hometown pride)

Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”: Deep in the heart of Texas lies a force as brutal as it is iconic: Leatherface, wielding his chainsaw with a singular purpose – to dominate. This relentless nature finds its mirror in Coach Ke’s Texans. Just as Leatherface is driven by a fierce loyalty to his family and territory, Coach Ke has showcased a deep-rooted dedication to his hometown squad. The roar of Leatherface’s chainsaw sends chills down the spine of anyone who hears it, a potent symbol of impending doom. Similarly, when the Texans take to the field, their opponents can feel that same dread, knowing they’re about to be taken apart by a team that embodies the raw power and spirit of Texas. Every swing, every play, is executed with a ruthless efficiency that leaves adversaries in tatters. With Coach Keraun at the helm, Houston isn’t just about space exploration or oil; it’s about making sure that when you come to their turf, you understand why Leatherface and the Texans are masters of their domain.

Jags – Coach TBandit (Disappointment)

The Entity from “It Follows”: There’s an inescapable dread that comes with The Entity. Always there, always following, but never quite catching up, just like Coach TBandit’s Jags. The Entity’s menacing presence is a constant reminder of the looming threat, always in the background but never truly asserting itself. Similarly, the Jags, laden with potential, always seem to be a step behind where they should be. Coach TBandit, like the cursed individuals in “It Follows,” finds himself constantly on the move, trying to outpace the ever-present disappointment that clings to his team. And while The Entity changes its form, adapting to its environment, the Jags have struggled to find a consistent identity that can break the cycle. The lingering question remains: can Coach TBandit find a way to pass on the curse of mediocrity, or will the Jags be forever haunted by the specter of what could have been?
