Welcome to PML Frightfest! We’ve paired PML teams and coaches with some of the most renowned monsters and villains from classic horror tales. Lets take a look at some of the some of the best and worst of PML season 1!
Cowboys – Coach Drama (Big personality team)
Jigsaw from “Saw”: “Do you want to play a game?” This chilling question posed by Jigsaw epitomizes his twisted nature, as he tests the wits and wills of his victims. Coach Drama’s Cowboys reflect much of this calculating menace. With a reputation that precedes him, Coach Drama has skillfully engineered a team in PML that feels both like a well-oiled machine and a treacherous maze of traps. Every play, every decision, feels like a part of a game designed to challenge, provoke, and eventually defeat his opponents. Like Jigsaw’s victims, teams facing the Cowboys often find themselves caught in scenarios where they must outthink, outplay, and outlast their own fears and shortcomings. And as the game clock ticks down, the pressure mounts, leading many to question: Can they survive the gauntlet set by one of PML’s most diabolical minds? The Cowboys, under Coach Drama’s guidance, are not just playing football; they’re orchestrating a master class in psychological warfare, leaving the league both awed and horrified.
Eagles – Coach HD (Great team, bad performance)
Chucky from “Child’s Play”: At first glance, a harmless doll, but beneath the surface lies a sinister force driven by a singular, chaotic goal. Coach HD’s Eagles mirror Chucky’s duality. On paper, they boast a roster that should dominate, much like the innocent appearance of a child’s toy. But the on-field antics and performance often resemble the unpredictable mayhem Chucky is known for. Coach HD, with his hands on the joystick, seems to have moments where the Eagles play with the precision and skill expected of them. However, in the blink of an eye, the switch flips, and the team devolves into a series of erratic decisions and plays, reminiscent of Chucky’s unhinged rampages. The dichotomy is maddening for fans and opponents alike. Is it a deliberate trolling tactic, a la Chucky’s devilish glee in chaos, or is it a genuine struggle to harness the potential of a powerhouse team? Either way, facing the Eagles is like dealing with Chucky: You’re never quite sure which version you’ll get, but you know it’s going to be a heart-stopping ride.
