PML Frightfest! – NFC North

Welcome to PML Frightfest! We’ve paired PML teams and coaches with some of the most renowned monsters and villains from classic horror tales. Lets take a look at some of the some of the best and worst of PML season 1!

Packers – Coach HypeMike (Stellar performance)

The Demogorgon from “Stranger Things”: The Upside Down, an eerie mirror realm, birthed the Demogorgon, a creature both mystifying and menacing. Bursting forth from the shadows, the Demogorgon is a testament to unexpected and raw power, much like Coach HypeMike’s Packers. At the beginning of the season, few could predict the meteoric rise of the Packers to PML’s top tier. Under Coach HypeMike’s guidance, the team has adopted a gameplay that’s as unpredictable and fierce as the Demogorgon’s attacks. Opponents are often left floundering, trying to predict from where the next assault will come. HypeMike, despite his brilliant coaching strategies, still has a void in his trophy cabinet. Regarded as one of the best coaches in the league, the absence of a championship serves as both motivation and reminder. As the PML universe watches, there’s a growing anticipation: Will Coach HypeMike’s Packers conquer the realm of PML, or will they be pulled back into the shadows, just as the Demogorgon retreats to the Upside Down?

Lions – Coach Fallen (Lost their roar)

Pinhead from “Hellraiser”: The enigmatic leader of the Cenobites, Pinhead is synonymous with both pain and pleasure, reveling in the intricate tapestry of human suffering. Bound by a mysterious puzzle box, Pinhead’s appearance often spells doom for those unfortunate enough to summon him. Coach Fallen’s Lions, in a similar vein, were once a formidable force in the PML, but recent events have left them more in line with the tortured souls Pinhead often ensnares. While they sometimes showcase their former prowess, these moments are fleeting, and the team often disappears when it truly matters. Coach Fallen, recently embroiled in a scandal, is a reflection of Pinhead’s dual nature. Dismissed from his commissioner position for betting on himself and then allegedly manipulating the game outcome, Fallen’s choices echo the duality of pain and pleasure that Pinhead represents. Now, the PML watches with bated breath, wondering if the Lions can reconstruct their tarnished reputation or if they’re destined to remain ensnared in their own labyrinth of despair.
