What is the status of Andrew Thomas and when is he set to return?
Thomas is set to return in three weeks versus the Eagles. This is his second multi week injury and its a huge concern given the contract that we just gave him. He is suppose to anchor the offensive line, however, he cant do that sitting on the sidelines. He needs to toughen up and not be out 4 weeks for injuries like a broken thumb.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC East currently?
The NFC East can be a competitive division but so far its not. The Cowboys are running away with the division, however, the Eagles and Giants are staying close in games, but not closing them out. If both of those teams changed some things late in games, we could be seeing an entirely different NFC East landscape.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
The morale going into the bye week was very low, given the record and the way that we are losing games. To fight so hard in games, only for an interception to change the game is frustrating. We made some changes to the offense in the Bye week, and the entire team morale is boosted and ready to rack up the wins.
