What does it mean to you or the team to have such a great winning record at home this season?
Winning at home is crucial to a successful season. Winning at home is literally have the battle and if you can be perfect at home, you put yourself In a great spot to make the playoffs.
Can you talk about the development of Kingsley Suamataia so far?
He was just what we needed on the OL, very excited to have him protecting the edge.
How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?
We don’t put too much weight into the combine, we watch game film. College highlights, what a player does away from the ball. How many times do we watch the player hustle to the ball and make a play then most people would feel no need to make an effort toward.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Tyreek Hill sort of factor into that perspective?
Tyreke Hill will have a heavy role this year in the offense. More so than last year, he is the best WR in the NFL and the most deadly and it will show this year.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
Fresh start! We know who we are and the world doesn’t, so we are looking forward to finishing games this season and being more strategic with the game plan.
The team has been very fortunate in terms of injuries so far this season. You currently have no one injured. Can you point to any specific thing you've done to keep the roster generally healthy to this point?
Last year we had the longest IR list and probably had one of the best IR lists. Jalen Ramsey is now active and ready to return to his elite form, shutting down half the field and allowing us to shade away from him and send blitzes opposite him also.
