How is the team handling the bye week this week?
Right now we're getting focused on week 1. It's been an eventful off-season, we're excited about what's in store for our team this season and we can't wait to see what we're able to accomplish on the field. We've finished with training camp, getting our recent acquisitions acclimated to the culture here and it's time to see it all come together week 1.
Can you talk about the development of Sedrick Van Pran so far?
He's been coming along a in a big way. Some say we reached taking him in the first round but he definitely is a fit for what we like to do in the trenches. We're ready for him to make an impact week 1 and anchoring the middle with Zack and Tyler gives him an excellent opportunity to succeed early on.
What is the status of Leighton Vander Esch and when is he set to return?
Leighton will be ready for week 1. He may have been able to dress this week if we had a game. Thankfully the bye has granted him an opportunity to really heal and come into week 1 fresh and ready to make an impact.
