How is the team handling the bye week this week?
We're doing well. Top guys are resting up while the young guys are getting reps. We're hoping for no injuries, but we are working this bye week.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Christian Watson sort of factor into that perspective?
Watson has now become an elite receiver in PML. He was top 10 in yards and barely even played the full season. We expect him to take on a bigger role as the offense may make some changes now. These young guys will play bigger roles than they did last season.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC North currently?
This division is competitive. The Bears snuck to the NFC Championship and the whole division was over .500 for at least half the season. This could easily be the best division in the NFC technically.
