Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Jalen Hurts?
Hurts is a heck of a player. We knew what we had to do to disrupt his game and the gameplan was executed in the 1st half has we held the Eagles to some field goals and out of the Endzone. He did a great job in the 2nd half adjusting to our defensive scheme so hats off to Hurts and their coach.
What kind of player do you see when you look at Jalen Hurts?
Hurts is a player who can beat you in so many ways. It is even more dangerous with the weapons he has in the backfield with him. He's a special talent that is capable of taking this Eagles team for a deep run.
What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?
We failed to adjust the 2nd half. Our offensive didn't produce and the defensive unit was able to only hold off the Eagles offense for so long. The offensive has to step up to help keep our defense off the field.
