Biggest Question for Every Team Part 2 AFC West and South

pKansas City Chiefs – Can Keon Coleman be the #1 WR
Travis Kelce is probably in his last season of being an elite TE, and the other WR are solid open field guys but will there be a guy you trust 1 on 1 every time? Coleman was a highly regarded prospect and has tools to be a top guy, but will he put it all together?

Denver Broncos – Can the secondary make up for the front 7?
Denver gave up a lot to put together one of the best CB duos in the league. The offense is solid with decent receivers, a good RB, and probably a solid QB in Trey Lance. The big weakness of this team is in it’s front 7. Zach Allen is the only player rated above a 77. Will the run defense and pass rush be good enough for the CBs to make a difference.

Las Vegas Raiders – Can the young guys be stars right away?
This was a top heavy team from the beginning, and the roster still definitely has some holes. The Raiders top two picks were WR Rome Odunze and QB Jayden Daniels. Both have star potential, great attributes and physicals to start with. If Daniels can get this offense rolling with all these weapons we shouldn’t be surprised to see the Raiders in the playoffs.

Los Angeles Chargers – How big is the drop off from last season?
This went from a MUT team to a regular team with an elite QB. Weapons on offense took a hit, front 7 took a big hit. Herbert being healthy is a bigger key now than it was last year. The Chargers need to hope they found some difference makers late in the draft.

Tennessee Titans – Are they ready for the next step?
The Titans were very close to making the playoffs last season but ultimately fell short. They loaded up with two superstars in the draft. It seems like half the roster is aging and on the decline and the other half is on the way up. If the young guys step up they could be in for a playoff push, if the young guys aren’t ready yet we could see some moves at the trade deadline.

Jacksonville Jaguars – How prepared are they?
The Jaguars missed probably their biggest chance to win the division during season 1. Other teams in the division are getting better and the Jags feel like they’re stuck in place. We have higher expectations for this team than what we saw last season, but it is getting to the point where we need to see some progress.

Indianapolis Colts – Are the receivers good enough?
The clear weakness on this team is the receiver room. The run game should be great with JT and ARich running behind that line, as long as the defense can’t sell out for it. If the defense keys in on the run the Colts have to be able to make them pay, and I don’t see an answer for that on the roster right now.

Houston Texans – How big is the next step?
The roster took massive steps forward this season both in the draft and free agency. The Texans were the 2 seed last year and hosted a playoff game. The playoffs did not end how they hoped, and the Texans have new plans for this season. They come in as favorites for the division, and are looking to make a deeper run this postseason. If the Texans have the same season as last year, is that a failure?p
