How do you rank the biggest changes to this team over the off-season by importance? What do you think were the team's best moves? Was there anything you wish you would have done that didn't get to do?
We made a lot of changes in the off season to fit our play style. I think the most important piece moving BJ Ojulari to move up to pick 6. He’s a young, fast edge rusher but we felt like that was a place of depth that could be easily replaced. He also wasn’t the best at stop the run and it showed later in the season. This allowed us to take Xavier Worthy and James Williams back to back. Two generational talents that instantly make an impact of the field. I do wish we could’ve moved some guys before the draft and got young replacements we could build, but I’m happy wit the outcome.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
Overall the team health is good. We’re a split reps , half pads all season type of team. The burning question is can Rondale Moore stay healthy.
What stands out about your opponent's offense?
The Vikings give you a lot of the same looks, and run multiple plays from a single formation. This makes it hard to determine what’s coming next because anything can be on the table. They are extremely efficient and take what you give them.
What stands out about your opponent's defense?
It’s a great mix of zone and man. Not the fastest but guys are always in the right place at the right time.
