Transcript: Giants Head Coach Press Conference

How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?

We are taking the approach that last weeks loss was an anomaly. Everything that could have went wrong did versus a coach who you have to play perfectly in order to stand a chance. I mean when you have your superstar left tackle instantly being hurdled once the ball is snapped, you know its not gonna be your game.

Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Eagles last week?

It was great playing the Eagles last week. We own the team so far this cycle. They are a great roster but the coach doesn't make the greatest decisions in game and we seem to be able to take advantage to get the wins so far.

Can you talk about the development of Quinn Ewers so far?

Ewers hasn't had the greatest start this season. He got hurt in preseason, missed the first game, then came back to face a divisional rival. He played okay versus the Eagles but the game plan wasn't for him to throw the ball. Week 3 versus the Browns, he was given more freedom to throw the ball and he failed miserably. He had receivers open in the first three drives and just missed badly. This snowballed and resulted in the offense scoring no points.
