How much of a problem is Byron Murphy II on the defensive line?
He isn't yet but he will be. Just 20 years old and very talented with tons of superstar potential. We plan to take advantage of the time we have before he is elite.
Did you scout Braelon Allen before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Yes of course he's a fantastic player. I think he is a beautiful build of both size and speed and he fits in any offense at just 20 years old. Another Panther that will be a problem but maybe just not yet.
What stands out about your opponent's offense?
It's run heavy and uses their athletic freak playmakers to make plays. It isn't very creative, but it is effective if the offensive line can get going downhill.
What stands out about your opponent's defense?
It's exotic but blitz heavy. It's pretty easy to neutralize with identifying the blitz and attacking the weak zone he leaves behind. We are mindful of Brian Burns as well but the blitzes tend to leave him to just contain.
