What are your thoughts about the Giants going into this week?
Looking over the roster, the giants have an extremely solid team. Their defense features an extremely dominant defensive line that we’ll have to game plan around. On offense, they’re starting a rookie at QB, but he has an elite RB, in Saquon Barkley, standing beside or behind him. We look forward to this matchup.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Saints last week?
We didn’t play complementary football. Our defense struggled to stop the run in key situations and gave up way too many passing yards. On offense, we didn’t play turnover free football, and we left way too many opportunities on the field. The saints are a good team, but we match up extremely well against them. We just need to do a better job of executing.
What is the status of Christian Barmore and when is he set to return?
Barmore is doing well in rehab and is set to return to the field in 3 weeks. We traded for him in the offseason to be a key piece in our run stopping defense. We’re looking forward to getting him back.
