PML Reality Checks: The NFC East will flip real soon. Raiders officially a bottom team in AFCW?

Codes

Emari
Demarcado will win MVP.

Reality or Overreaction: Reality

Right now in the RB standings, Emari Demarcado
has 860 yards which is 140 more yards than 2nd place. He also had 14 touchdowns
which is 6 more than 2nd place. Emari is on pace for 35+ rushing TDs which
would shatter the record and set him up to be the MVP of this season. I think
there’s some stat padding involved but regardless it is impressive to do with a
RB who started off as a 64 overall.

Cammy
could only pass with Burrow

Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction

Cammy came out of nowhere when he got the Bengals.
He went from being compared to the Vets and Malis of PML to being compared to
the Kes and Matigys of PML. There were some haters still though that said his
passing success came from Burrow and his great abilities. Flash forward to
season 2 week 5 and Cammy has Baker sitting at 1,900 passing yards (150 more
than 2nd place), 19 TDs (2 more than 2nd place), a top 5 completion %, and a
top 3 TD-INT ratio. Baker is playing like the best QB in PML and it’s not even
really close right now. He’s doing it with star dev Chris Godwin as his number
1 as well, which is probably a bottom 10 number 1 WR.

The
Lions have arrived

Reality or Overreaction: Reality

The Detroit Lions seemed to have closed the
talent gap between them and the other rosters in their division pretty quick.
The scary thing is…they did it with YOUNG talent. This team will be a problem
for the rest of the cycle. Maybe the Lions will get a strong arm QB to fit the
speed demons they have everywhere, but as of now this offense may be one of the
toughest to stop on paper with their skill positions.

The NFC
West runs through Los Angeles

Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction

These guys are the defending NFC champions,
but in terms of the regular season they did not win the NFC West last season.
Right now it is a two headed race between LAR and ARI. Do not forget about SEA
and SF. This is arguably the most competitive division in PML and I do not see
one person dominating it the entire cycle. It is fair game for anyone.

KMFO
hasn’t been tested yet

Reality or Overreaction: Reality

Being placed in the AFC North, we all knew he
would have 6 winnable games each season.
I use the word ‘winnable’ to be nice to myself and my fellow peers- but
we all know what it is. He’s gone through
all 3 other users in the division already and has won by an average margin of
just over 24 points per game. He’s also
played Burn who he defeated 52-0, and DK whom he beat by 34. So the question at
hand is, has he been truly tested yet?
He hasn’t lost by anything less than 3 scores yet and is yet to play a
team over .500. The big test comes this
week as he takes on Matigy, a former Super Bowl winner last cycle, and his
Kansas City Chiefs. Playing a top user
with a top rated team should be must-see-TV week 6 as we are treated to the
first potential competitive game since his return. The spread is at 13 points, but many bettors
already think it’ll be closer. So the
answer is no, he hasn’t been tested, and come week 6, we will get a true gage
as to where he stands against fellow top users in the league.

There
is more than what meets the eye with the NFC East

Reality or Overreaction: Reality

Check this out, the Eagles and Commander
currently sit at 1st place in the division with a played strength of schedule
of .208 (Phi) and .375 (Was). The Eagles
have wins over the Ravens and Commanders, two of the bottom tier coaches in the
league. The Commananders with a slightly
tougher schedule (data wise) have wins over Cincy and Atlanta. Again, really deceiving when you look at the
Cowboys and Giants who sit a game behind at 1-4 and have played a much more
difficult schedule to start the season.
They have played strength of schedules of .640 (Dal) and .700 (Nyg). Really deceiving when you think about the
difference in the schedules between the top and bottom. What I will say, is when the Commanders and
Eagles reach the tougher parts of their schedules, it is very likely we will
see a shift with the Giants and Cowboys rising up when they reach the softer
part of things. Just some food for
thought for NFC East fans.

Drama
Will Win the NFC East

Reality or Overreaction: Reality

For the last few weeks, we have been
discussing the possibility of Drama being able to still win the division after
a rough start to the season, and just after 1 win in week 5, he is one game out
from 1st place in the division after beating HD’s Philadelphia Eagles. With an
easier part of his schedule coming up, I’m willing to guarantee that Drama wins
the NFC East this year. If I could do a futures bet on him being the NFC East
winner at -500 odds, I would slam 100 content points on it. Only time will
tell, and we’ll see if any of the division mates take offense to this and show
that on the gridiron.

Ke Has
the AFC South Locked Up

Reality or overreaction: Reality

Even after a loss to Matigy and the Kansas
City Chiefs, Ke has had an impressive start to the season at 4-1. That is
despite CJ Stroud being suspended for 2 games and having to rock with Max
Duggan, and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference looking at the box
score. The next closest division mate as far as record is concerned is 2-3 in
CB’s Colts. I think it’s safe to say that Ke has this division on lock this
year. However, in future seasons if we see Dlloyd’s Titans with better
internet, Tbooty’s Jags locked in, and CB’s Colts develop further, then it’ll
be interesting to see how everything shakes out. Again, only time will tell,
but it seems that we have found our clear AFC South division winner for this
season at least.

Raiders
aren’t the bottom team in AFCW

Overreaction or reality: Overreaction

After a shocking 4-13 season for the previous
cycles #1 ranked user. People couldn’t help but assume he was tanking to secure
a better chance of competing. they got swept by the entire AFC conference and
went 4-1 in the NFC had some folks wondering if they were playing for
tiebreakers, and that’s definitely still up in the air as we’ve seen them do
what we expected szn 1 and pound the rock, which they did do in most of their
wins szn 1. Now szn 2 they started off 2-0 looking really good, but since have
fallen to 2-3. Raiders have really only played the chargers well with their
lone divisional victory coming against them. But the chiefs and broncos have
given the raiders a hard time and I think that will continue. This might just
be what kingmike really is.

Breece
hall trade is looking good

Overreaction or reality: Reality

Breece hall got traded for a package that
ended up helping get Caleb and might give the jets a top 10 pick in this year’s
class. The bears have fallen off after making a champ game last season and are
1-4. Breece has been decently injury prone missing 4 games this cycle and
heading out early in many others. And I wouldn’t say Breece was much of an
improvement over fournette who was doing very well. So overall I don’t think
this trade was a good one for the bears and will be a great one for the jets.
