PML Reality Checks: Toxicity is here to stay; Is Tbruh’s future in jeopardy?

Tbandit might be the next to go
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I really hate to say it because tbruh is my guy, but it’s looking like he might have one foot out the door. I believe he’s already missed 3 games this season (due to travel) and it’s only week 7. Bandit also hasn’t been very competitive lately and isn’t known for content. That is a recipe for the witch hunt to start. It’s only a matter of time before he’s the main topic on the breakfast show (if he hasn’t been already). Hopefully he can start getting his games in and he comes back strong with some content, I don’t wanna see my favorite bubble booty bandit out the league.

The Falcons wont make the playoffs all cycle
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I know I know the Falcons are dealing with injury, but he still has bad tendencies that would still be there without the injuries. How many times have we seen Ridder just chuck a prayer to Waddle in triple coverage? He’s playing like Waddle is still his new toy he’s getting used to… it’s almost been a full season since acquiring Waddle, he should be used to him by now. Maybe once Pitts, Bijan, and whoever else was out come back he will be able to put it together, but I highly doubt it because he was doing the same blind reads when they were all healthy. Cammy is on the rise, JC is still at the top, and season 5 JT is lurking, if Nef doesn’t figure it out soon he will never see the playoffs.

We need to accept that a toxic environment is what PML will always be
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I guess it just makes the world go round for PML. No other way to put it I suppose. I’ve been in many leagues in my day, starting from the GroupMe leagues so believe me when I say that I’ve seen toxic, bullying, shaming, etc. However, I’ve never seen it on such a constant and consistent level as we have here in PML. It is literally near a 24 hour thing in PML that to some, negates the whole ‘PML is an escape from reality’ idea. I’ve personally learned to live with it, do I enjoy it or embrace it? No way, I hate to see it. You can’t go into chat, jump on a live stage or involve yourself without the same bullies of PML pushing at your throat. Gone are the times we can have higher leveled conversations whether its Madden related, or something outside the league. Sometimes I don’t want to ruin a good mood so ill totally avoid anything PML related- its just a daily dark cloud. Ya see, a lot of us are getting too old for daily immaturity. While some embrace and enjoy it, to me it’s just high school drama all over again that some haven’t grown out of. Its sort of like they’re trying to recover from the bullying they endured in high school and this is their only platform. I’ve talked to quite a few people recently who echo the same sediments and are turned off by it. Most don’t speak up, because they’ll be further ridiculed, labeled, and targeted. Others don’t speak up because for some reason or another they want to earn the respect of these bullies so their names aren’t dragged through the mud day in and day out. Then you get others who join in to gain their acceptance so they try to imitate the behavior. For whatever reason, I’ll say what most are thinking, it’s old and the toxic stuff isn’t cool. Witch hunting people for every little thing that really makes your day go by? We really think CEO is a bad league member because he resigned a player? Drama needed to be shamed because he didn’t get the memo about the Previous Play screen? You ever think some people just don’t have the time of day to eat, sleep and breathe PML like others do? We are human, it happens, they miss the memo. Its almost as if certain members skip over P0rnHub and go straight to PML announcements to get themselves off, literally. This all is just a case of people having too much time on their hands. Let’s all be grown adults, enjoy the camaraderie, and play the game we all obviously love enough to be a part of this league. But until then, we are a part of an community that puts the biggest a******* and bullies on a glorified pedestal.

Burn May Be A Real Threat To Win The NFC East
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
Although Burn didn’t exactly shine offensively in his game against the Los Angeles Rams and Cook, he did enough to get the win, and that is all that matters at the end of the day. As a result, this puts them at 3-4 on the season, which puts them 1 game back of first place in the Philadelphia Eagles. There is a real possibility that Burn could walk away as the winner of this division, but it’s going to take a little bit more consistency from Burn if he expects to do so. Nonetheless, when you are able to hold the opposite team to 3 points, there’s a pretty good chance you are going to win that game. We’ll see if he can continue to be stout on the defensive side of the ball.

The NFC West is Anybody’s Division
Reality or overreaction: Reality
After a tough loss to Burn and the Giants, that puts the Los Angeles Rams at 5-2, and Que’s Cardinals and Z’s Seahawks are nipping at their heels at 4-2. Although I’m sure Cook’s young QB, Jaylen Henderson, probably didn’t do him any favors this past game and missing some passes, it looks like he will have to pick up the slack if he looks to secure the division. Nonetheless, he still holds his own fate with the division lead, and we know he is capable of fending off the competitors shooting for first place in that division. I’m sure there will be some big primetime games in the division down the stretch that ultimately decide who walks away with the divisional title there in the NFC West.

Kmfo & his Browns will go 17-0
Overreaction or reality: Reality
7-0 with the number 1 defense and offense. This team has blown everyone’s back out besides the chiefs. With the 2nd place schedule for the AFC north, they somehow secured a bottom 2 schedule in PML and looking thru I don’t think anyone will put up another fight until maybe week 18 when he faces off vs the chargers. Maybe Greeny could surprise us next week, I think that will be a decently close game because of the clock running but Greeny will have to play great to win. Overall after the jets they will have a bye then play ATL, CIN, DAL,PIT,LV, WAS, PHI, BAL, then finally the chargers. So I’m expecting no more than 3 close games rest of szn, Rest will be blowouts

AFC has two timeshare divisions
Overreaction or reality: Reality
The AFCN is the obvious one that everybody expected once KMFO was announced to the bengals. Simply nobody in that div has the skill level to compete, and are some of the most turnover prone users in PML. With a combined record of 3-17 this is the biggest time share in PML and won’t change. The second time share is the AFCS, last season the titans saved this division from giving zero comp to the Texans. Starting 9-4 and finishing the szn 9-8 is tough for the titans and they seem to have continued that momentum and are currently 1-6. Tbandit who everybody thought would’ve been the 2nd best user in this div, has started off 1-6 in b2b seasons. Defense is dead last in yards given up and the offense can only muster 22 PPG atm. It’s bad and kind of shocking to see someone once so convinced he was top 10 fall off into obscurity. Finally but not least you got the inconsistent colts who are currently sitting 2nd in the division at 3-4. And to be honest I think CB is starting to find some consistency, he’s beating the struggling users and getting beat by the good users. And I think that’s a step in the right direction, CB just has to start splitting these tough games and he could very well be a playoff team in the future. We just gotta see it to believe.

KMFO sits atop the AFC, and may be the best team in PML
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
At the midseason point returning Head Coach and former Super Bowl champion KMFO has the Cleveland Browns atop the AFC and on fire currently at 7-0. KMFO has transformed this team from a season 1 bottom feeder to a juggernaut getting it done on both offense and defense. The Browns are #1 in both total offense and defense, and have a commanding division lead at this point if the season. Offensively Deshaun Watson and Amari Cooper have become a dynamic duo in the passing attack, with Cooper leading the league in TD receptions. Looking at the schedule ahead KMFO does have a couple tough games with the Jets, Eagles/Cowboys, and Chargers late in the season, but KMFO will look to continue his dominance, with the help he f a lackluster schedule also on his side. Could KMFO take this roster from worst to first? Possibly even make a playoff run and Championship aspirations??

Is Caleb Williams a Bust?
Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction
As the standing’s currently sit the Jets are 3rd place in the AFC East, behind the Pats and Bills, and their offense ranks 29th in total yards. After drafting a generational QB in Caleb Williams first overall, the expectations were very high for this Jets team, to say the least. But it’s not all doom and gloom for the Jets just yet. While the stats haven’t been eye popping, the Jets have won big games with Williams at the helm, including against the reigning Super Bowl champs in the LA Rams, the Seattle Seahawks, and a blowout of the Jags most recently. If the season were to end today the Jets would be a wildcard team that nobody would want to see. The Jets have a huge test this week against the undefeated Browns with new HC KMFO. This is be a great litmus test not only for Caleb Williams against the leagues top defense, but also the Jets coaching staff as they navigate this game against an elite coach.
