How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
We're still trying to roll out the same scheme with Marcus Mariotta as we did with Lamar Jackson, however, this past week illustrated the limitations of this attempt. We will look to slow it down a bit and go back to what worked for Marcus in his week 6 win.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Raiders last week?
Mike is a heck of a coach who knows his football. It's sort of like a chess match because you know he is thinking 2 or 3 moves ahead and you have to anticipate that when putting a drive together or selecting a defense or adjustment.
Can you talk about the development of Jared Verse so far?
Jared had a huge sack last week late in the 4th that set us up for the win against the Raiders. Unfortunately his development will take a little timeout as he hit the injured list for 4 weeks.
