Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Dolphins last week?
We looked rusty coming off a loss to the Titans the previous week. We started slow and didn't execute well in the redzone. But I can't speak enough about the tenacity of this team to keep moving forward and to stay relentless in the pursuit of victory. The win is huge for the team moving to 5-4 going into the bye, we feel confident about our chances of making a run the playoffs.
How is the team handling the bye week this week?
This may be one of the youngest teams I've ever had the pleasure to coach. Therefore instead of spending a lot of time with families, we got to make sure the fellas ain't too lit on their week off. Rumor is between Bucky and Booth, we got a couple party animals on this squad. So we'll let the fellas enjoy the weekend off, but come Monday, we'll be back in the facility focusing on a big division matchup next week against the Bears
Who is your quarterback, and why?
Joe Milton is our guy. He has been the guy since he stepped into the facility in the first week of OTAs. He's at the facility before anyone else and he's the last one out. He has lead this team by example since his name was announced in the 4th round of this past year's draft. He's done nothing but work on perfecting his craft as a QB, a leader, and most importantly, a teammate.
