Transcript: Rams Head Coach Press Conference

The team now has back to back wins, what could you attribute the recent success too?

Our defense has made the game easier by putting up some scores, and offensively we're finally getting Jaylen Henderson more comfortable in the offense. It's not to say he still doesn't have his misses, but at least he waits until we go up big to start missing. Last week's game in the snow was the best of his young career to date.

How has Aaron Donald’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

I think it goes without saying the impact Aaron Donald has on a football game. The stats will tell you all he's done. But he also helps open up a lot of 1 on 1 opportunities for the rest of the line. We saw it last year with Byron Young getting double digit sacks with the help of AD's presence, and we're seeing it a lot more this season with some improved play up front. Our young guys' development is helped a lot by all the attention AD draws, which is yet another reason why he is indespensable.

Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?

Being an older team definitely has it's benefits. Football is a very complex game, and just throwing young bucks into the wild isn't always a good strategy. Sometimes you need some vets to either lead the way on the field or to provide some depth and a sound voice the locker room. It's always good to know what you have in someone.
