What are your thoughts about the 49ers going into this week?
The Niners are going to come into this game prepared. Brock Purdy has been a great QB this season. Top 5 in stats, but has a tendency to throw interceptions. His Run Defense has been 32nd in the league so far this year. I dont think it's any secret that we will be trying to run the ball with Bucky Irving and Audric Estime. If we force a couple interceptions and hold onto the ball ourselves, I think we have a great chance to win this game.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Nick Bosa?
He's a player you have to watch on every single down. You have to know where he's at and usually you'll probably want to run away from him 9 out of 10 times. He's the type of player who can put you far behind the sticks early on into drives. He can be soul-crushing to drives. So yes, we are aware where Bosa is every single play.
Is quarterback a priority for this team in the upcoming draft?
No. Joe's our guy. We're invested in him at this point. We feel he's been developing well this first season, and we are satisfied with how he is playing. He will only continue to get better. Now, would I be surprised if we drafted another QB to add some depth at the position? No. We will do the necessary scouting and analysis on how high we'd be willing to draft a QB. We have 5 picks currently in the top 60 picks.
