How valuable is the self-scouting process that you go through during the Bye Week? There's the physical piece, but also that component, as well.
The draft class has just been imported so it will be extremely important for us as a team to take a look ad do some pre scouting before the official 40 times are shown. After that and the bowl results well take a deeper dive into the draft. We have major needs on offense, especially wide receiver at the moment.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC East currently?
The NFC East is one of the most competitive divisions in the league. At one point this season we were all in the race for the division crown. It ended up just being a two team race between the Cowboys and Giants but I see all of us competing for the crown next season.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
The vibe in the building id one of somber and disappointment. The team knew that we had our shot at making the playoffs and we blew it. All we had to do was beat the Cowboys once and we would have won the division crown. We need to be able to take that next step and beat them this upcoming season.
