Best Pick of Each Round Pre-DDT

pChoosing to do this before DDT because obviously whatever guy drafted in the 6th round with superstar would be the best pick.

Round 1: QB Drew Allar, Miami Dolphins pick 15
This was a tight race and there really wasn’t any bad picks in the first round either. Allar looks like a franchise QB that can finally play in to Tyreek Hill’s strengths in Miami. Allar has 95 throw power and good accuracy ratings as well. He should be at least star dev if my estimations are correct (still don’t know a ton about ddt). Some honorable mentions are CB Jarvis Brownless to the Giants at 17, CB Benjamin Morrison to the Colts at 9, and Sheduer Sanders to the 49ers at 2. I chose to give it to a top QB who fell to 15.

Round 2: DT Zxavian Harris, Cleveland Browns pick 31
This is a ready to go DT from day 1. 6’7″ 350 pounds, 98 strength, 74 speed! 87 finesse move, 83 power move, 85 block shed. This guy is an absolute monster in the middle of a defense, and he will never have to come off the field. His overall will shoot up soon too by putting AR into awareness and play rec, which are the only things keeping him at a 74 overall right now. Honorable Mentions: Quinshon Judkins, Loic Founji, Deone Walker.

Round 3: RE Bear Alexander, Pittsburgh Steelers pick 1
Alexander is similar to Harris, both are ready to go from the jump, though Harris has more physical tools. Alexander is a 78 overall with 76 speed, 89 strength, 85 block shed and 85 power move. Alexander can play 3-4 end or nose tackle and hold up against the run as well as rush the passer. Honorable mentions: Oscar Delp, Cobie Young, Junior Tahfuna

Round 4: QB Kyle McCord, Detroit Lions pick 5
96 throw power doesn’t grow on trees. McCord is a worse version of Drew Allar, but to get a potential franchise QB in the 4th round is great. His short and medium accuracy is very good, and buys him time to build up his deep accuracy. I would be starting McCord over Jared Goff. Honorable mentions: Josh Conerly Jr., Antonio Williams, Donovan Green

Round 5: LB CJ Hicks, Pittsburg Steelers pick 26
Not a ton of great picks here in the 5th round that stand out. Hicks is a former 5 star that should have good DDT points. He could be a potential first year starter and that is more than most picks could say in this round.

Round 6 LB Jaylen Sneed, Chicago bears pick 10
Sneed is a solid all around player. Solid speed, strength, pass rush ratings, and block shed. He can develop in to a quality starter in the upcoming seasons with some AR and playing time

Round 7: WR Barion Brown, Baltimore Ravens pick 1
Brown has good speed with 91 speed. Good route running and juke move as well. Brown could be a potential starter in the 7th round. He is 20 years old so he should develop fast. p
