Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?
Although we don't have as young of a team as an average team, I think it can work in our favor. All the time we see savvy vets making big plays because of their experience and there tenure in the league. I believe we have a good mix of young and old guys to make sure we're well balanced and well equipped for what we come across.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
Overall we are a pretty healthy team. That is a test every year though that every team faces. It doesn't make or break your season though. Life is not about what happens to you, but it's about how you respond. It's just an opportunity for the next man up to step up and make plays.
Which new player are you most excited about and why?
It's really hard for me to pick out one player. I think we made great additions this draft all around, and we're all excited to see how they come along and develop not only for this season, but for years to come. We are a tight knit group, and none of us like to boast about our individual accomplishments. It's that culture that drives our success as a team, and we are looking forward to see what the future holds.
