What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
The main key was to outscore the Eagles. We know they had a top offense last season and their team improved. We did not expect to have to go against 4 superstar defensive lineman though. Our run game was non existent and Jordan Love had to win us this game.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Jalen Hurts?
It is tough to stop him. He can beat you in the air or with his legs. The best bet is to keep Hurts in the pocket and force him to make some throws deep downfield.
How much of a problem is Jalen Carter on the defensive line?
He is a huge problem and the rest of this Eagles defensive line is a problem. Arguably this could be the best defensive line in the league right now. They have ability guys all over the line which makes them pretty intimidating to run the football against.
