Transcript: Bills Head Coach Press Conference

What was the toughest decision your team had to make this offseason?

We lost some older guys, we made the tuff decisions to let them walk with the contracts being too high of an ask. Although the decisions were indeed the tuff it was necessary for the bigger picture. The greater good if you will. Hopefully as some point we can get our order guys back and they can retire in Buffalo.

What are your expectations for the team's performance this season?

The expectations are always win or bust. No one comes in at the beginning of the season and says they just want a playoff spot. We think we have the pieces and staff to make a deep run and win the whole thing! This is always our mindset and will never change. Josh will lead the offense and the defense will lead as a group to get us deep in the offseason.

How does the week’s preparation reflect your long-term goals for the season, especially in the context of the upcoming game against the Jets?

This is the week we have to turn it all around. This is the week we have to show some fight. With back to back division games to start we have to show that we can make a stand and not only win outside the division but we will win inside of it. Maintaining our season 1 form and returning to that beast needs to come quicker then ever and we need to be back. The prep for this week will show us if we can reach our goals this season or not.
