How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
A loss is always hard to take, and we always want to improve for the next week. It's self-inflicted mistakes, too many turnovers and not being able to get the stops when it matters most. If we want to win games, we have to stop the mistakes on offense and play better coverage.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Packers last week?
I mean we're playing one of the best coaches in the league, we knew it was going to be a high-scoring affair off rip. It's exactly what it was. They scored more than us. We turned the ball over, one too many times. But we feel good going forward, being able to hang in a game with one of the best teams in the league.
RB Austin Ekeler is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?
Seeing our starter, Henderson go down hurts. But when we found Austin in free agency, we had to bring him on-board asap. He has that veteran presence in the locker-room helping the young guys out and keeping team morale up. On the field, he's done everything we could ask him to do in the air and on the ground. He's been great.
