Caleb’s rookie year stats weren’t that great . 3,300 yards 16 touchdowns 14 Interceptions but At the end of the day the jets did become a better overall team after acquiring Caleb which is why this grade is still passing . Greeny clearly played inspired to prove the naysayers wrong and believe it or not he didn’t have a drop off in defending the pass even with the loss of Sauce Gardner.

When this pick was first announced.
It felt like a home run. A team coming off a NFC championship appearance gets the #2 pick and upgrades their biggest need with the best player in the draft and son of an hall of famer.
Who was going to stop the bears? Nobody knew it would be the Dominican Republic escorts. Those ladies treated the Chicago bears coach to lots of fun in the sun during the season and his bears payed the price ( pun intended ) the bears season was in shambles and MHJ lost his dev.
3 drake maye

The only reason miles doesn’t get an F is because we all knew drakes dev was gone the minute DDT dropped. Still i would like to see Miles try and protect him a little in his rookie campaign but at the end of the day drake may moved from 77-83 and got miles 5 wins . 5 more then his all time PML total

Jared verse pick was supposedly because of a cruise so i guess Jared decided to be on a cruise in his rookie season. Jared had 3 sacks in his rookie campaign. This has to be the worst top 5 pick in PML history the only thing good about it was it kept the ravens trash for another year to get Travis hunter.
5 Xavier worthy

Xavier being here at 5 was a dream I’m sure and he didn’t disappoint with over 1400 yards and 11 Touchdowns in his rookie year. The WR position wasn’t a weakness but there was no way cardinals could pass up such a dynamic play maker. And nothing is better than nailing your pick and also cashing it in the following season.
6 James Williams

I could see the intrigue. James was a beast the past 2 cycles and a for sure Sub Lb . The problem is we all know sub Lb isn’t as a must as in last maddens so basically you are taking a safety top 5 so that safety has to be undeniable . James has elite size sure, but not elite speed or elite anything else ratings wise. James has 43 tackles and 2 interceptions his rookie year not the production you are looking to see out of a top 6 pick

This may look like I’m putting my foot in my mouth because kool-aid had no interceptions on the year. But there is one big difference . Kool aid wasn’t targeted much he is a lock down corner . I know i played him twice. He always has blanketed coverage so he won’t be tested enough to have great stats. The only reason im not giving this an A is because i think Brock bowers would’ve had a bigger impact for the colts

I’m not rooting my own horn here guys the proof is in the pudding. Brock was the second best rated player and was draft pick 8 he finished the year with 1,200 yards while missing 5 games. The only reason I went down from an A+ was because of the injury. Brock in 12 games earned himself abilities that’s amazing

This grade is just off production. 4 sacks is ok but not world changing . 12 total tackles is meh. I think when the titans drafted him they expected more but at the end of the day
To go from 76 to 87 overall makes Jt primed for a big sophomore season

What a bad pick for the old jags coach i see now why he was always ready to trade his picks he just isn’t a good drafter. Nothing pre draft popped out about Jaylen and he did virtually nothing his rookie year with 2 interceptions. I know the new jags coach looks around at his roster like w** bro .
