Can you talk about the development of Harold Perkins Jr. so far?
I couldn't be happier. He came in here as the fifth overall pick, lots of expectations and pressure on his shoulders. He's coped perfectly with that pressure and those big expectations. Whether it's a run or a pass, he's the first one there to make a play. We love the guy and he has a very bright future here, in Washington.
What are your thoughts about the Eagles just in general as a team?
They're one of those teams that are hot and cold. One day they'll look like an elite team, another day they'll look like a bottom feeder. It'll be a tough fight versus them next week, but we'll give them what we have to offer and hope to walk out with a win.
What did you learn about your team’s capabilities from the matchup with the Packers?
It told us where we are as a team, Green Bay is one of the best teams in the league. Both sides of the ball, and overall. We hung in with them the whole game, and if it wasn't for a couple turnovers we probably walk out with the win. The team showed what we can do, there's no team we can't hang with. We clean up a bit and tie a few loose ends, we'll be right there with a lot of those 'top' teams.
