Trades approved by the Trade Committee must be completed in game
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
This almost has to happen as the process to complete a trade has become virtually impossible this cycle. The trade committee can’t be bothered to do a job they have the privilege of having which clearly is an issue. If they cant take 30 seconds to grade a trade then keep it moving, show them the door. It isn’t a matter of not having the the time, its a matter of troll culture of PML taking a front seat and them not bothering to take a moment to click yes or no, or even provide valuable feedback to move the process. To finally get them to move their feet and approve a trade, great! No, we still have to cross our fingers the trade partner doesn’t get cold feet. That being the first hurdle, what if a team buys a player off the NTL list? We’re saying someone just paid 100 smackaroos in good faith to complete a trade, and the trade partner B wants to be an a****** and turn his back? No way, no how I could ever let that happen to me. Then we got the 3rd issue. Chat feedback. Bullies, ridicule, laughing emojis are sometimes enough for a trade partner to take a second look at something I am sure they spent a good amount of time justifying, only to back out to avoid public backlash. With all that said, lets make trades final once submitted. Really makes users take a second look at things before pressing that submit button. I don’t see why this cannot be a thing other than creating a platform for controversy and betrayal. Some things we need to evolve with as we move the league forward, so if we’re asked to pay 10+ pts for a trade, and 100pts to remove a player off a NTL, and then spending sometimes a week trying to convince a bunch of morons what is best for our own teams, then make it final once the trade is approved bound together by a fine if a user backs out.
AFC West is officially on the clock
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
The Super Bowl circle as they’ve become known pre-cycle since all four members hold rings from the previous Madden are officially on the clock. As a collective group, it is Super Bowl or bust for the rest of the cycle as all the members in this group are considered top tier users and we approach the point mid-cycle where all rosters should be not only leveled with the rest of the league, but users have had time to tailor them towards their game style and schemes. Where do we stand today? 3 of the 4 users have their goals set towards a SB run this season. The Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs are a combined 9-1, with the only loss coming within the division. They’re taking care of business and have become a scary division to have on your schedule. If the division finishes the cycle without a single Super Bowl ring, or even appearance, then yes the group as a whole was a let down this cycle. This isn’t a hot take either!

The NFC East is a 3 Man Race
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I hate to say it, but the NFC East is really just between the Eagles, Cowboys, & Giants. As much as I would love to see Miles and his Commanders make this division more competitive, the fact of the matter is that Miles has given up 214 points in 4 games, which averages out to 53.5 points per game. I don’t care who you are because giving up that many points per game is not a winning recipe. Hopefully he can figure it out on that end of the ball, because if not, it’s going to be a long grueling season for Miles. On the other hand, we have seen some fight from the 3 other teams in the division. Even with the Eagles losing Jalen Hurts for the season, they traded for Desmond Ridder to fill his shoes. Although he is not Jalen Hurts, I think Philadelphia will be able to make something shake with him, as he brings a lot to the table.
Wimmy (Wimdawg) is Back
Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction
Wimmy has been given the Vikings this cycle, and he got off to a bit of a rough start, but that’s understandable from the perspective of how rough that defense is. He even stated it himself that he has requested rebuilds, and that the Minnesota Vikings was more of what he was looking for as he really had to restart from the ground up on the defensive side of the ball. Well now we are in Season 3, and he has made a few changes and strides, and he is off to a good start at 3-1. Although he hasn’t had the most impressive schedule thus far, he can only play who is in front of him. That would be the only reason that I would say this is an overreaction, but I am a Wimmy believer, and I have faith! I am excited to see how this season unfolds, and I’m ready to see the Wimmy of old. It’s time to prove those washed allegations wrong, as Nef really has been spearheading that ideology on the breakfast show. SKOL!

Is Beast cooked without abilities on Allen
Reality or Overreaction: OverReaction
Beast has gotten off to an awful start this season and a lot has to do with Josh Allen playing poorly. I do not think beast stays in the cellar for long though with or without abilities on Allen. I do think we may have seen his ceiling peak already this cycle with his Afc champ game appearance season 1. Thats obviously a high ceiling i just dont see him getting back there. I do think he gets back to playoff form rest of this season and competes the rest of the cycle
Arod is back baby
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
4 game sample size is very small but man oh man do these new look Ravens give you hope. First overall pick Travis Hunter has scored multiple touchdowns on the season, without playing offense. Lamar is running at an all time high clip for arod and i think thats a recipe for success. He has been playing aggressive on defense and hes got the perfect personnel for it. He is coming off arguably his best win in pml history with a win over hypemike in week 3. If he continues to lean on his amazing secondary and ground game Arod may be in the mix for tank rule check at the end of the season if he is able to continue the hot streak into a play off appearance. 10 wins is probably the mark for afc wildcard teams this season. 3 wins down 7 to go for this cinderella story to continue.
