The Top Player on Every NFC Team

pWashington Commanders: WR Terry McLaurin, 92 Overall
This would have been Jon Allen but uhhh. Scary Terry is a great WR to have, and now he will have to step up more with the loss of Deebo Samuel. McLaurin can win at all levels and has to be accounted for as a deep threat. He is averaging 25 yards per catch right now, so maybe an increase in volume would help out this Commanders offense, since he only has 15 catches.

Dallas Cowboys: WR Ceedee Lamb, 95 Overall
Lamb is not going to burn you deep, but he can win on any route, and can create more yards after the catch. His route running is elite and he has put up 1000+ yards and 12+ TDs in each of the first two seasons. His production is a key part of this Cowboys offense that has won the division back to back seasons, and he will have to continue to produce now that the defense is without Micah Parsons.

Philadelphia Eagles: DT Jordan Davis, 86 Overall.
86 might make Davis the lowest overall on this list, but anyone with inside stuff is going to have a case for the best player on the team. Davis broke out last year and is now an XF, and playing with Nolan Smith and Jalen Carter makes the Eagles front line top tier. Davis is having a moster season already this year, and looks like a top 5 DT for the rest of Madden 24.

New York Giants, DT Dexter Lawrence II, 99 Overall
Lawrence might be the best defender in PML at this point. He has inside stuff, 90 block shed, and 99 power move. He has 3 sacks in 4 games after having 8 last season. He can be a problem when user rushing as well since he has El Toro. Lawrence keeps this team in games in a way that not many others can do.

Chicago Bears: HB Breece Hall, 97 Overall
Whenever Breece is on the field he is producing. He leads the league in rush TDs so far this season with 9 in 5 games, and has 37 TD in 32 games for the Bears. He is the 3rd highest receiver on the Bears this season as well. Hall and Fields might be the best QB-RB rushing threat in the league, and Hall is usually the one punching in TDs to end Bears drives.

Detroit Lions: HB Jahmyr Gibbs, 91 Overall
This was a very close race between Gibbs and Jameson Williams, but Gibbs has the better abilities so I gave it to him. Gibbs is up to 97 speed which I believe puts him as the fastest RB without a speed tree. He has jukebox, and leads the league in broken tackles this season. He can be rookie QB Kyle McCord’s best friend with his rushing and receiving ability.

Green Bay Packers: CB Jaire Alexander, 97 Overall
Jaire is a top CB, no doubt. He can match speed WR and can cover WR with high route running. His height shouldn’t be much of an issue for the way this madden plays. He leads a very strong CB room in Green Bay, and has 11 interceptions in 37 games. Last season the Packers defense took home what felt like every award, and Jaire was a huge reason why.

Minnesota Vikings: WR Justin Jefferson, 99 Overall
Is there any other WR you want on your team to start a franchise that Justin Jefferson? Elite route runner, elite after the catch, elite at the catch point, and can burn you deep if you give him the chance. He has the most receiving yards of any player since we started, and will probably hold that title for all of madden 24.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: LT Tristian Wirfs, 95 Overall
Wirfs is the bets OL to start a team with. 26 years old, a nearly perfect pass blocker and a very good run blocker as well. You start your madden 24 franchise with the Bucs and are set at left tackle for all 5 seasons.

Atlanta Falcons: TE Kyle Pitts, 96 Overall
There’s a couple players you could pick from this team. If Kyle Pitts were a WR where would he rank in PML, now you get to put him at TE and line him up against linebackers. His red zone threat ability has led him to 24 touchdowns in 32 games for a loaded offense. There are 4 players you could pick for this spot, but Pitts is the biggest mismatch in my opinion.

Carolina Panthers: QB Bryce Young 89 Overall
This Panthers roster is full of unpolished athletes, but Bryce young is a very good QB. Sideline deadeye is very nice, and Young is certainly a franchise QB. Once the team around him builds up for season 5 I think we will se a big increase in Young’s performance.

New Orleans Saints: WR Chris Olave, 92 Overall
Olave is a very polished route runner with great speed and solid abilities. He broke out last season with 1400 yards and 16 TDs. This season he is helping rookie QB Maalik Murphy get off to a hot start as part of an offense that is averaging 40 yards per game.

San Francisco 49ers: MLB Fred Warner, 98 Overall
This may be a surprise to some by not choosing Kittle or CMC, but Warner can shut down middle of the field passing on his own. He has better coverage stats than most safeties, and has lurker and mid zone KO, so good luck trying to pass over the middle. Warner is an above average run defender in the middle of the 49ers defense.

Arizona Cardinals HB Emari Demarcado, 95 Overall
Demarcado leads PML in rush TDs since we started, and he does not appear to be slowing down any time soon. He is the driver of the Cardinals offense, and is one if the top backs in the league. He can run past you, juke you, or run through you. Good luck stopping the Cardinals inside the 5 with his goal line back ability.

Los Angeles Rams: RE Aaron Donald, 94 overall
Donald is not the player he once was, but speaking from experience, he is a monster. He is a force in the middle of this defense that has won 2 straight Super Bowls. Donald should retire a Ram and will be one of the most impactful players from this Madden Cycle.

Seattle Seahawks: CB Tariq Woolen, 91 Overall
I wanted to put DK Metcalf here, but I trust Woolen to cover Metcalf, so I will put Woolen here. 99 speed at 6’4 with good coverage stats. Having a CB like Woolen allows you to do so many things with your defense without fear of getting beat deep.
