This series will be a thing that rotates through sports, I plan on making comparisons for PML users with a lot of real life related things. To start off, I’m going to go around the league and compare every PML Player to an NBA Player. Afterwards, you can except NFL Coach comparisons, celeb comparisons, etc. PML Classics is still going as we have the NFC left to cover but as I wait for graphics, I wanted to get this going. How these things will be based off is, the coaches user ability, personality, history/accolades, etc. This will primarily be based off of this cycle, due to the fact I’m not as familiar with the history of PML past 5 years, etc.
SIDE-NOTE: These are just my opinion, and something for fun. Don’t get upset lol.
To start us off, the AFC North.
KMFO – Cleveland Browns: Joel Embiid
So, KMFO. One of the most dominant users in the league right now. Has been since he made his return to PML. I’m unfamiliar with his history and success, this is one of the people I’d be focusing on based off present info. Even though it’s a short-sample window he looks like he could be the Joel Embiid of PML. Since his return he came into PML went 16-1 in the regular season – lost a fluke game to Nef, but dominated every opponent. Unlike Joel Embiid, he’s made it out the second round of the playoffs aka. when it matters most. However, after dominating the regular season and arguably being the ‘MVP’ he suffered a heart-break loss to SPDot and got eliminated in the playoffs despite being a Superbowl Champ favorite by most. So far into this third season, he’s come back from behind in a couple games and dominated them rest of the way. It’ll be interesting to see if he can win the ring this year.
ARod – Baltimore Ravens: Dillon Brooks
From a trash-talk standpoint, ARod is nothing like Dillon Brooks. However, from a hatred perspective it’s more relatable. ARod despite the contribution he gives to the league with the sportsbook, receives a lot of hate for his play and lack of of success with good teams. At the end of the day, he’s just there to produce his content and be a good fit for the league. Play his role, similar to Dillon. However, despite doing 90% of the things right (off the field) he receives hate for the 10% thing he does wrong. Both players get more recognition for bad than good.
Curt – Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Caruso
Curt is always under the radar – similar to Alex Caruso. He’s not the best of the best, but he’s not the worst of the worst. He’s middle of the pack, a sneaky name that always somehow appears in that playoff race. Curt knows his role and plays it. He doesn’t do too much, but doesn’t do too little. He’s appreciated by a lot of faces for his ‘darkhorse’ energy and mostly does what you need him to do. Just as Alex Caruso does, one of the best role players and middle of the pack players in the league.
Silent – Cincinnati Bengals: Killian Hayes
At the moment, this is Silent. He is the Killian Hayes of the PML. A new user this season, who took over the stacked Bengals. Hyped into the league, as was Killian Hayes who was drafted in 2020, at Pick 7. However, we haven’t seen anything or much from Silent since pre-season. No content, barely typing in the chat. He has a few upset wins, but his losses aren’t good. Reads are obvious (per multiple users he’s played) and he’s just there to be there, is the vibe from most people in the league. He could change this comparison if we see more, but based off early looks. He looks like he’ll be our Killian Hayes. An overhyped player, who didn’t pan out.
