Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Bengals last week?
It was one of Caleb’s worst games in his career. Not just looking from the stats but just the throws missed really hurt us. He knows he needs to be better for us to win games. We had many chances to win that game but kept turning the ball over.
How has DeAndre Hopkins’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Dhop has proven himself to be a true veteran for the team. He has taken a lot of the young guys under his wings. We’ve seen him working on his release with receivers and even just talking to the young guys about what it takes to be a pro. We are lucky to have him.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
We have not been fully healthy for a single game so far this season. Depth was a point of emphasis this offseason which has helped but it’s tough to replace 6-7 starters at once. We feel very confident in everyone on the roster but our training stuff has to keep our keys guys ready to play week in and week out. We look forward to getting our starting running back in the mix this week which we hope helps jumpstart the offense
