Midseason Predictions

Here are my predictions for each division and the playoffs and how they’ve changed since week 1

NFC West
Week 1: Rams
How could you not have picked the back to back super bowl champs with a young qb developing fast and Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp still playing great football.
Midseason: Seahawks
The Rams have disappointed and Z has seized the opportunity with control of the NFC West. Offense looks deadly, but the defense needs to be better. They are definitely my pick to win the West like they did season 1, but they gotta put it together to have playoff success.

NFC South
Week 1: Saints
Regular season warrior but that’s all it takes to win a division.
Midseason: Saints
A scare in week 2 against the Falcons had Atlanta primed to take over, especially after gaining Micah Parsons. They’re seeing a repeat of the Waddle trade as talent comes in and messes with chemistry and scheme. They’ll get back on their feet, but will they make the playoffs? Saints have returned to form.

NFC East
Week 1: Cowboys
It’s a weak division and drama owns it
Midseason: Cowboys
Scary loss against the Giants followed by a scary win all shrouded in controversy but the main man dramaman comes out on top, all suspensions served, sitting in first and looking ahead to having a second consecutive season with a playoff win.

NFC North
Week 1: Packers
Hype owned the North for so long even with close games, losing Aaron Jones didn’t scare me when I saw that rookie RB Jordan
Midseason: Vikings
The Lions and Vikings are both ahead of the Packers thanks to excellent GMing and producing on the field with their moves. The Vikings built through the draft and the Lions built through trades, but both are having success. I trust the Vikings run game and defense to be more consistent and take the division but Detroit is dangerous, too. The Packers have work to make up just to see the wild-card. Vikings are also 3-0 compared to Lions 1-2 division record.

NFC Champion
Week 1: Rams
Just like my west prediction, how can you not have picked Cook pre-season
Midseason: Vikings
Genuinely the Rams are still my second choice here because of their playoff resume, but the Vikings look the best in the NFC to me right now. A deadly offense with Justin Jefferson catching, Bucky Irving running, and multiple QBs I can see them win games with. The defense is the key though with all those young guys like Dallas Turner, the rookie DT combo, and early DROY favorite Nick Emmanwori. Throw in Jalen Ramsey… scary

AFC West
Week 1: Chiefs
I mean just so good on offense with solid defense and he took control seasons 1 and 2 it made sense
Midseason: Chargers
the timeshare is unwinding as KC has been great but the Chargers and Broncos sit ahead. I do believe, the Chiefs still make the playoffs, but I think codes takes the division finally. Herbert looks the best he has and the defense gained Hutchinson. I think the Broncos fall off, though.

AFC South
Week 1: Jaguars
I had the pleasure to play water twice in Evolve and despite beating him twice, I was very impressed. The state of the AFC South was bad and I saw water taking advantage with a talented team
Midseason: Texans
I doubted it, but shame on me for doubting it. The Texans are back and better than ever with an all-around roster. Malik Benson looks like a top receiver and the defense is 2nd in points allowed per game. They are back and I expect at least one playoff win.

AFC East
Week 1: Patriots
Greeny gave dot a fair run last season, but dot came out on top despite going 0-2 and I can’t argue with his resume
Midseason: Patriots
The Jets are two games behind which isn’t impossible, but the Patriots continue to be the team in the east and are better on both sides of the ball than everyone else in the division.

AFC North
Week 1: Browns
duh, I respect the other users but they aren’t KMFO level
Midseason: Browns
duh, again, Silent is picking it up, Curt and Arod are curting and arodding, KMFO is running away even with plenty of injuries and Daniel Jones. It looks like an easy 6-0 for the Browns again.

AFC Champion
Week 1: Patriots
He did it both seasons regardless of the QB, regardless of the opponent. I respect consistency and two seasons is enough to show he belongs as the favorite.
Midseason: Browns
The Patriots gave the Browns everything but KMFO made the comeback and is now the AFC favorite for season three. Throw in Cam Jenkins on his way from evolve and I don’t think he can be beat by anyone besides the Patriots, but the Browns have the advantage

Super Bowl Champ
Week 1: Rams
I believed in the back to back to back and why wouldn’t I
Midseason: Browns
The storm is brewing for KMFO to wind up back on top. Cam Jenkins with a healthy browns team competes with everyone and I think Cleveland wants it more than anyone right now. I would gladly like to see a close super bowl and playoff games, but I’m not confident in that right now.
