Transcript: Colts Head Coach Press Conference

How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?

We're getting pretty tired of it to be honest. Right now it's less about the losses and actually going out there prepared to play four quarters of football and execute to the highest of our ability. That should be our goal regardless if we win or lose. The streak we're on is very frustrating but it can only end if you win a game, just one game. That's all we need. Then we take it from there.

Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Patrick Surtain II?

Pat is one of the best shutdown corners in the league. From day one he came out playing at a very high level, very similar to our own Ben Morrison. To simply put it, you have to account for him on the field. Every single snap. He has an effect on the game like that.

The trade deadline is this week. Should we expect any major moves for the team?

You guys know I'm not going to share any information like that (laughs). But it's our general manager's job to put the best team on the field possible and it's my job to coach them. So that's the best I can give you unfortunately.
